Marshall University’s W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communications Career Expo – April 2, 2009
The W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communications Career Expo was held on Thursday, April 2, 2009, beginning at 12:45pm in the atrium of Smith Hall on the Marshall University campus in Huntington, WV. The Station Employment Unit’s General Manager and the Program Director of WKLC-FM, both of whom have substantial responsibility in the making of hiring decisions, attended on behalf of the SEU. While there, the Program Director hosted a seminar where he talked to the students about careers in radio.
(b) Initiative: Participation in Job Fairs by Station Personnel Who Have Substantial Responsibility in the Making of Hiring Decisions
Workforce WV Job Fair – October 29, 2008
On October 29, 2008 a job fair was held at the Charleston Civic Center in downtown Charleston, WV, from 10am to 2pm. The job fair was sponsored by Workforce West Virginia. The Station Employment Unit’s General Manager and the Program Director of WKLC-FM, both of whom have substantial responsibility in the making of hiring decisions, attended on behalf of the SEU. Applications were available and resumes were accepted as well.
